Ideogeny Braids
Ideogeny brushed and smoothed out her long, white hair, her toes resting lightly in a clear-flowing spring. Braiding her hair took days-- not including the selection of adornments that she would work into her rough locks. Although she could travel quickly, she preferred to create slowly and then move on.
Sometimes on a sunlit day like this, lilies floating in the peaceful stream, bird chirping and everything still, Ideogeny stared at her wizened hand and couldn’t remember ever seeing it look like that before.
